In particular, Afriland First Bank South Sudan PLC is a full-service Bank in existence since 2011. It received an operations license from Bank of South Sudan on the 24th of May 2012 and currently maintains a Share Capital of USD 15,000,000 and Total Asset Base of USD 55,000,000.

Obtained an operational license from the Bank of South Sudan.
Experienced a 250% increase in profits for the financial year 2022 compared to 2021, Achieved a 280% increase in total deposits for the financial year 2022 compared to 2021 and registered a 210% increase in total assets for the financial year 2022 compared to 2021.
Afriland First Bank South Sudan has signed two partnership agreements with the South African telecom giant, MTN. Through these agreements, Afriland First Bank South Sudan becomes the first bank in the country to offer Mobile Money and Push & Pull services.
Until the end of the year 2023, AFBSS operates a branch at its headquarters located at Plot No.12, Block A, Hai Cinema Road, P.O. Box 640 Juba, South Sudan, and maintains an agent network across the country. Also, it initiates an expansion plan that includes the construction of its headquarters and the establishment of new branches in Juba, Wau, Nimule, Yambio, Aweil, and Rumbek to enhance service delivery.
AFBSS opens three new branches: Airport, Konyo-konyo, and Sherikat, and launch ATM.
