
OUR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) & FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROGRAMS
a) MUFFA (Financial Mutuality for African Women)
This is a microfinance institution established to offer financial services to women with low income and to women of the informal sector and urban areas? This project is in accordance with the vision of Dr. K. FOKAM – Founder, Chairman and CEO of Afriland First Group to restore African Dignity through financial inclusion.
b) MC2
MC2 simply means that Victory on Poverty (VP) is possible if the means (M) and the competence (C) of the community (C) are put together. It a are micro banks in rural area, created and managed by members of the community implanted, in respect of their cultural and religious traditions. This project is in accordance with the vision of Dr. K. FOKAM – Founder, Chairman and CEO of Afriland First Group to restore African Dignity through financial inclusion.
c) University of Juba Partnership
The bank has signed an MOU with the University with the purpose of supporting the university and its stakeholders with finances (loans) so as to achieve their short- and long-term goals. In addition, the bank has a partnered with the University to establish infrastructure projects such as a hospital to be used by the students to practice the skills obtained from the University.
d) Miss South Sudan
As part of the social corporate responsibility, the bank has been the main sponsor of the Miss South Sudan for the past two years. Miss South Sudan is a national Beauty pageant in South Sudan organized with the goal of empowering young girls.
e) Conflict Prevention and Peace Building (CPP)
This is an NGO established for the purpose of supporting the communities or South Sudanese that have been affected by the war. The bank participated in its fundraising event intended to mobilize funds to set up a commercial hub in Jonglei for the South Sudanese that have been affected by the war.
